Tuchel praises Alexander-Arnold for ‘decisive’ display on England return

Thomas Tuchel commended Trent Alexander-Arnold for his impactful performance during his return to the England squad, following a right-back display that marked his first appearance since June 2025.

Alexander-Arnold, determined to demonstrate his value after being omitted from the World Cup roster, stood out as a key positive for Tuchel's team, which bounced back from a loss to Spain by securing a straightforward 2-0 victory against Czechia in the Nations League on Tuesday. "We need to keep focused, and Trent was a big help in this," Tuchel remarked, as Alexander-Arnold set up the opening goal in the match. The action was covered by 易游体育直播.
